A Sneak Peek into the 2018 Street of Dreams Event
The 2016 Street of Dreams was an incredible success, bringing builders and home buyers together to celebrate the beauty of great craftsmanship and give back to the community. Event organizers expect the 2018 event to surpass the 2016 event in style, opportunity, and experience. Whether you’re searching for build inspiration or building your contracting network, the next Street of Dreams event will offer something memorable for all attendees.
A 2016 Street of Dreams Recap
The 2016 event at Black Oak at Iron Horse Ranch brought the crowds for tours of some of the area’s most innovative and beautiful homes. Imagine modern waterfalls on sleek pools, energy-efficient designs, and a style and décor theme for every personality. Attendees enjoyed tasty bites from several vendors at the food truck park and had the opportunity to speak to other local vendors and artists along the way. Many attendees posted on Facebook about the talent of the builders and the highlights of the event – the block party on Friday night was a hit!
Edmond Public Schools received 20% of ticket sales, making the event a success not only for the home building community, but also for local schools in the area. The total donation amounted to nearly $25,000, and some of those proceeds directly impacted nearby Centennial Elementary School.
Mark Your Calendar for 2018
The 2018 event promises to deliver an entirely new lineup of eye-catching designs, technologies, and homes. We recently announced the location of the event, and are excited to bring builders more information about the event and vendors as the months pass and October 2018 draws nearer.
Set aside time in October 2018 to head over to The Falls neighborhood in northeastern Oklahoma City at the intersection of NE 150th Street and Post Road. As many as nine premier home builders from all over central Oklahoma will feature in one of the state’s most popular home building festivals. Homes start at 3,500 square feet, giving attendees plenty to look at on their tour of the distinctive and stylish homes.
For COHBA members, the 2018 Street of Dreams event represents a professional opportunity. Members can network with other professionals, speak to interested property owners, and showcase their work to generate more business.
